Wednesday, August 28, 2013 Bloomberg Covers Rags-To-Riches ETFs Bloomberg reported on small ETFs that have made it through the $100 million asset level. Guggenheim [profile] Spin-Off ETF tracks recently spun-off companies and has jumped 317 percent, from $67 million to $280 million in assets. Half of the ETF is in small-cap stocks and the other half mid and large cap stocks. Invesco [profile] PowerShares Dynamic Media Portfolio, allocates to companies such as Time Warner Cable and CBS Corp. and rose from $86 million to $226 million. DB [profile] X-Trackers MSCI Japan Hedged Equity Fund rose from $5 million to $157 million. PowerShares DWA SmallCap Technical Leaders Portfolio, which tracks 200 small-cap stocks picked for performance strength, went from $13 million to $302 million, a whopping 2,223 percent jump.
