Monday, July 22, 2013 Munis Endure Eighth Straight Week of Outflows It's been a rough week for municipal bond funds and ETFs, which had $1.56 billion in net outflows in the week ended Wednesday, Barrons reporter Michael Aneiro writes. This is the eighth straight week of net outflows. Despite the early spring losses in April and May, which Aneiro writes are typical of the season for muni bonds, the May and June sell-offs exacerbated outflows for the muni bond fund and ETF market.
