Scott A. Long Joins GAMCO Investors

RYE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GAMCO Investors, Inc. (GBL) announced today that Scott A. Long has joined the firm as Chief Administrative Officer, a newly created position.

 Scott A. Long most recently was the Director of Operations and Treasury for Diamondback Advisors. He has an extensive leadership background having been previously the Head of Operations at the Blackstone Group’s fund of hedge fund business; and the Head of Global Operations at Nicholas Applegate. He holds a B.A. in Biology from Northwestern College.
