A $125B Asset Manager Anoints a Director of National Accounts
There is yet another new member of the family at BMO Global Assset management.
Less than a month after the firm named a head of fixed income, BMO hired Don Borschel as director of National Accounts.
In his new role, Borschel will join the Intermediary Distribution team, responsible for distribution of BMO Global Asset Management investment strategies and BMO Funds to the bank channel as well as various broker dealer platforms.
With more than 26 years of experience in the financial services industry, Borschel most recently worked at Nationwide Financial for 14 years, where he reached the rank of vice president and senior relationship manager. Before that, he had worked for a decade at Citicorp Investment Services, where he reached the level of senior vice president - regional sales director.
He will be based in Chicago and report to Mike Robinson, Head of Intermediary Distribution.
On a different note, BMO also hired Jeff Cole to the role of relationship coordinator for BMO Taft Hartley Services in that arm's Las Vegas headquarters.

BMO Global Asset Management Adds New Director of National Accounts, Appoints New Las Vegas Relationship Coordinator
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS--(Marketwired - May 17, 2013) - BMO Global Asset Management today announced the appointment of Don Borschel to Director of National Accounts and Jeff Cole to Relationship Coordinator for BMO Taft Hartley Services in the Las Vegas headquarters.
In his new role, Borschel will join the Intermediary Distribution team, responsible for distribution of BMO Global Asset Management investment strategies and BMO Funds to the bank channel as well as various broker dealer platforms. With more than 26 years of experience in the financial services industry, Borschel holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Eastern Illinois University and a Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University in Chicago. He will be based in Chicago and report to Mike Robinson, Head of Intermediary Distribution.
As part of the original team that established BMO's Taft-Hartley Services business line in 2002, Cole rejoins the team in his role as Relationship Coordinator with more than 25 years of experience in financial services, specializing in Taft-Hartley with an emphasis on employer contribution processing and commercial banking/treasury management services. He previously worked within the company as the Custody Officer for Custody Services of Nevada, supporting Portfolio Services and Servicing Corporation. Based in Las Vegas, Cole will report to Kristy Perez, Managing Director, BMO Taft-Hartley Services.
BMO Taft-Hartley Services provides recordkeeping, custody, securities lending and other financial services for both single and multi-employer benefit plans, as well as unions and other labor related entities.
