CRA Unit Taps CEO

Capital Resource Advisors' (CRA) Business Strategies Group has tapped Donald J. Rogers as its new chief executive officer. Rogers' mandate is to grow the business of the consultant to asset management firms. He was most recently senior director of business development with Into Networks in Cambridge, a technology startup doing business outside of the asset management industry.

Rogers fills a position vacated by Jeanette Schreiber at the end of 2002. She shifted her priorities to become a consultant at the firm, according to spokesperson. Rogers, meanwhile is based in the consultant's New York City office and reports directly to CRA Chairman Kevin Greene.

CRA is best known for its work in the pure asset management side of the industry, including the pension, foundation and endowment markets. Last year it also acquired pension consultant RogersCasey from Barra. It also provides salary data and consulting on issues such as business strategy, technology and distribution.

The Business Strategies Group offers six core products and services to decision-makers at asset managers: Competitive Challenges, Product Competitiveness, Strategic Consulting, Investworks, Leadership Conferences and Trading Cost Analysis.
