Thursday, March 7, 2013 Bogle Called It The Wall Street Journal paid a tribute to those who predicted the March 2009 market bottom and the start of the four-year bull run that's still happening — even if at least one of those prognosticators isn't entirely comfortable with it. Those who get the kudos are Jack Bogle of Vanguard, Jeff Saut of Raymond James, and Doug Kass of Seabreeze Partners Management, a hedge fund company. Bogle claims to not remember his assertion. "I’d have to look at what I said," he told reporter Paul Vigna. "I almost never talk about tops and bottoms. I have to be very humble about that."
