Tuesday, February 12, 2013 Should MSCI Be Worried? iShares [profile] could be following the lead of its rival Vanguard [profile]. The ETF shop unit is reviewing its relationship with its index providers, managing director and global head Mark Wiedman said at a conference this week, according to Brendan Conway at Barron's. Vanguard announced an indexer switch in October. iShares' most prominent indexer is MSCI, the same firm abandoned by Vanguard. Wiedman was clear that there was "nothing imminent," Conway reported.
