Monday, February 4, 2013 Calamos Names a New President Calamos has promoted James Boyne to president of the firm. With the company for nearly five years, Boyne was previously chief operating officer, a position he will still hold. The announcement comes nearly six months after the departure of Nick Calamos, nephew of founder John Calamos, in September. Nick Calamos had served as president and co-chief investment officer at his uncle’s firm. The company also reported the retirement of board director Arthur Knight. (NASDAQ: CLMS) announced today that, following nearly 10 years of meritorious service on the Board of Directors, Arthur L. Knight, 75, has retired effective January 30, 2013. Since 1994, Knight has served as a business consultant and independent director for a number of companies. John P.
