Wednesday, January 16, 2013 A Scottsdale Shop Adds a Sales Exec Longboard Asset Management wants to expand its reach in the broker-dealer world, and CEO Cole Wilcox thinks he's found just the man to do it. Clint Kruse, who previously worked at RS Investments, is joining the Scottsdale, Arizona based shop as its head of national accounts. "He has extensive experience and relationships," Wilcox said of Kruse to MFWire. Kruse will work with a team of four external and four internal wholesalers, and will report directly to Wilcox. Wilcox noted that as the distribution gets more robust, Longboard would likely be looking to add more members to its wholesaling team. The shop launched its first fund last summer.
