Thursday, January 10, 2013 Principal Makes a Sales Hire in Indiana Principal Funds [profile] has hired Rich Pentz to serve as regional director in the central sales division. He will be responsible for the wirehouse channel in the territory that covers Indiana, one of Principal Funds’ largest. Pentz reports to Bret Bussanmas, regional vice president, and is based in Fishers, Ind. The position is new. Principal is focused “on continued growth of the sales team to help drive market share,” according to a company spokesperson. Bussanmas had this to say about the hiring. We believe adding Rich to the team gives us an immediate opportunity to significantly increase market share by devoting more time to respective channels.Regarding additional hires, Bussanmas said: We plan to further build out the sales team as we continue to execute on our long-term growth plans in all channels.
