AIM Makes Manager Moves


AIM has tapped Meggan M. Walsh as the new lead manager for its AIM Large Cap Core Equity Fund replacing Ron Sloan. An eleven-year AIM veteran, she is also the lead manager for AIM Global Financial Services Fund, and co-manager of AIM Balanced Fund and AIM Global Utilities Fund.

Also joining the investment management team for the AIM Large Cap Core Equity Fund is J. Philip Ferguson. He has been at AIM since 2000 as a senior investment officer.

In addition, Roger J. Mortimer takes over as lead manager of AIM Worldwide Spectrum Fund and will be joined by Glen Hilton. Mortimer also is lead manager of AIM Global Energy Fund and joined AIM in 2002 from Montgomery Asset Management. He replaces Joel E. Dobberpuhl as lead manager of AIM Worldwide Spectrum Fund. Dobberpuhl has retired from AIM.

Finally, Kenneth A. Zschappel, lead manager of AIM Constellation Fund and a portfolio manager for AIM Mid Cap Growth Fund, joins the management team of AIM Summit Fund and equity analyst Warren Tennant, a senior equity analyst who joined AIM in 2000, has been added to the management teams of AIM Global Science and Technology Fund and AIM New Technology Fund.
