Thursday, December 27, 2012 Three TCW Bigwigs Step Down and One Steps Aside Four TCW Group [profile] bigwigs are stepping down even as the hour of Carlyle Group's takeover approaches. Jessica Toonkel of Reuters reports that Erlend Bo, Michael Cahill and Michael Conn are all leaving the firm, while Komal Sri- Kumar steps down on December 31 as chief global strategist. Bo served as managing director "involved with marketing and distribution," according to Reuters. Cahill served as general counsel and Conn as managing director of corporate strategy. Sri-Kumar will create his own macro-economic consulting shop, though he will still PM more than $700 million in TCW assets. The departures follow an analyst team exit reported earlier this month.
