Wednesday, November 14, 2012 MFS Moves Its Boston Headquarters MFS Investment Management [profile] is moving its headquarters a few blocks west in Boston's Back Bay. A MFS spokesman confirmed that the firm will be leaving its longtime home at 500 Boylston street for new space at 111 Huntington Avenue, in the Prudential Center complex. MFS had been at 500 Boylston, a 19-story building abutting Copley Square, since 1988. "We had an opportunity to get a good space at a reasonable rate," said spokesman John Reilly, adding that the lease was up at 500 Boylston. The move will take place over several weeks in late November and early December. MFS' new headquarters will comprise eleven-and-a-half floors of the 36-story skyscraper, roughly the same amount of space as its previous headquarters. The majority of MFS' 1,700 worldwide employees will work out of the new space. MFS manages a total of $305.1 billion as of the end of October.
