Friday, October 26, 2012 MFEA's New Website Will Be In A Class of Its Own A mutual fund industry trade group that recognizes excellent industry websites is about to revamp its public, online presence. Brian Smith, senior director of the MFEA (Mutual Fund Education Alliance), confirmed that in January the Kansas City, Missouri-based trade group will launch a new version of MFEA.com. "The site is the number one search result for 'mutual fund education,' and the press still uses it as a third-party source," Smith told MFWire at MFEA's 16th annual STAR Awards dinner in Chicago on Wednesday. "The current site is very outdated. We've been waiting for some time to redo it." According to the MFEA, the new site will include educational content for investors, links and third-party connections, and highlighted content from MFEA's 60 mutual fund shop members. The trade group focuses on business best practices and future-forward development in four mutual fund business areas: distribution, e-commerce and digital technology, marketing, and product management Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=41816 Copyright 2012, InvestmentWires, Inc.
