Fido Employees Provide Fiscal Boon to Republican Senator

As one might expect, Fidelity [profile] employees by and large seem to be supporting Republican Senator Scott Brown — and they're putting their money where their mouths are.

The Boston Globe reports that employees of the Boston Behemoth are freshman senator Brown's biggest support group, giving $264,675 according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Employees of other financial firms such as MassMutual and Goldman Sachs have also been big donors to Brown's campaign to fend off challenger Elizabeth Warren.

Both Fidelity head Ned Johnson and potential heir to the throne Abby Johnson have given to Republican candidates in the past year, according to opensecrets.org.
