Charles Schwab is looking for a managing director, national accounts, third party products.

Schwab's LinkedIn posting describes the opening as follows:
The National Accounts team is seeking an experienced manager knowledgeable about the mutual fund industry, and Schwab's unique manner of participation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of fund distribution landscape, and have several years experience in a relationship management, sales, or similar capacity. This individual will also have primary responsibility for a large number of key relationships, serving in a “player-coach” capacity. This person will report to the Vice President of Third Party Funds.

The particular team within which this managing director will work is described so:
The Third Party Funds group is responsible for the continuous offering of thousands of mutual funds to clients of Schwab’s various businesses. Serving individual investors, registered investment advisors (RIAs), retirement plans, and other institutional clients, the third party fund platforms are a centralized and shared resource for the firm. The National Accounts group within Third Party Funds is responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with these third party mutual fund providers. The group facilitates the addition and ongoing offering of funds in a manner that is consistent with Schwab’s guidelines, satisfies ongoing client demand, and generates appropriate revenue.
