Wednesday, December 4, 2002 SRI Specialist Adds Two Funds Citizens Funds, a specialist in socially responsible funds based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, have taken the wraps off two new members of its family. The two offerings are Citizens Ultra Short Bond Fund and Citizens Balanced Fund. Sophia Collier, president of Citizens Funds, said that she expects the two new funds to be particularly appealing in the current volatile market environment. "There has never been a more appropriate time for socially responsible investing, and I am sure we will have a lot of interest in these two new offerings. Our newly expanded fund family represents a broad range of choices for investors," Collier added. The balanced fund will not open be available to investors until later this month. Robert Barringer will manage the equity portion of the fund and Susan Kelly will manage the fixed income portion. Kelly is also the portfolio manager for the Citizens Ultra Short Bond Fund.
