Friday, March 16, 2012 Russell Unveils Two High Dividend Yield ETFs Russell Investments [profile] has launched two high dividend yield ETFs. The Russell High Dividend Yield ETF and Russell Small Cap High Dividend Yield ETF hit the market yesterday. The large-cap ETF comes with an expense ratio of 33 basis points and the small-cap version sports an expense ratio of 38 bps. [prospectus] IndexUniverse's Cinthia Murphy picked up on the launch and noted that the High Dividend Yield ETF "will face some stiff competition from at least a dozen other U.S. high-dividend-yield ETFs that serve up similar exposure. It will also face stiff competition on price from the likes of Vanguard and Charles Schwab funds." As for the Small Cap High Dividend Yield ETF, Murphy wrote that the product appears to be the first of its kind.
