Thursday, March 1, 2012 HSBC Rechristens its Funds HSBC [profile] has tweaked the names of seven mutual funds. The bank has dropped "Investor" from the name of its HSBC Investor Funds. The change took effect February 28. The new name is "more consistent with how HSBC has been naming its new emerging market funds in recent months. We believe this initiative will enhance consistency and clarity for investors and advisors," HSBS officials said. The seven funds include five money market and two equity funds.
