Tuesday, January 10, 2012 Goodbye, MTB Funds. Hello, Wilmington In two months, the MTB Funds name will be no more, and they will have a new transfer agent, too. Last year M&T Bank bought Wilmington Trust. Now M&T is replacing the MTB Funds brand with the Wilmington Funds one. The change is being made for both the combined mutual fund complex and for all of its mutual funds. Along the way, MTB will eliminate, via fund mergers, six Wilmington mutual funds and four MTB ones [SEC filing]. The mutual fund re-branding and mergers are slated for March 9. In the same filing, MTB revealed that it will replace transfer agent ALPS Fund Services with BNY Mellon Investment Servicing.
