Wednesday, January 4, 2012 Ariel Goes Global Ariel Investments LLC kicked off 2012 with a pair of product launches. The launch of the Ariel International Equity Fund and Ariel Global Equity Fund raise the total number of the Chicago-based firm's mutual fund offerings to six. Ariel's hometown paper, the Chicago Tribune, picked up on the twin launches. Rupal J. Bhansali, who joined Ariel last fall as chief investment officer of international equities, PMs both funds.
