The Doctor is Out: OppFunds Replaces Freud


OppenheimerFunds [profile] has made a PM switch in a $650 million fund. The Oppenheimer Quest International Value Fund is now under the care of Randall Dishmon, reports InvestmentNews.

Dishmon's predecessor, Dominic Freud, ran the fund since 2005. According to the pub, Freud will stay on with the team, but will no longer manage funds.

InvestmentNews notes that year-to-date, the Quest International Value Fund is down 19 percent. The fund lagged the foreign large-cap value category's annualized average return by 1.6 percent since Freud took the helm of the fund in 2005.

Dishmon has served as PM of the Oppenheimer Global Value Fund since its birth in 2007.
