Wednesday, November 23, 2011 Jensen Expands its Sales Team There is a new face on the sales team at Jensen Investment Management [see profile]. The Oregon-based mutual fund firm has brought on board Monte Mitchell as director of sales. Mitchell focuses on advisors in the Western portion of the country and handles Jensen's defined contribution investment-only relationships nationwide. Mitchell reports to Dave Mertens, principal in charge of sales and marketing at the Portland, Oregon-based mutual fund firm. Mitchell's counterpart in the East is Richard Clark. Prior to Mitchell's arrival, Mertens handled the DC I-O relationships. "The addition of Monte allows us to invest more time in developing those relationships further," Mertens wrote in an e-mail to The MFWire.com. Mitchell previously worked as a financial advisor consultant with Charles Schwab. Earlier, he was at Morley Financial Services.
