Wells Fargo Names a New National Sales Manager

There is a new national sales manager at Wells Fargo Funds Distributor [see profile]. The move comes after Wayne Badorf was promoted to president of the mutual fund firm's distribution arm this summer.

Tim Curtin became the national sales manager on October 17, Wells Fargo spokeswoman Emma Gutierrez confirmed to The MFWire.com. Prior to his promotion, Curtin had led a team of regional directors.

Badorf, the previous national sales manager, was elevated to the role of head of intemediary sales at Wells Fargo's asset management group and president of Wells Fargo Funds Distributor on August 26. He filled the post vacated by Cara Peck, who moved on to another unit within Wells Fargo.

Before Wells Fargo, Curtin worked at Evergreen Investments, whose parent Wachovia was purchased by Wells Farge in 2009. He is also an alum of Munder Capital Management.
