OppenheimerFunds Hires Four


There are four new faces in Kim Mustin's strategic accounts group at OppenheimerFunds.

Gregg Beagle signed on with the third-party distribution team as vice president - senior strategic account manager and sub-advisory practive lead. He was previously a director in AllianceBernstein's sub-advisory services group.

Jason Widener, most recently with Denver Investments, joined as vice president of institutional sales. He will market the firm's offerings to public and private defined benefit and defined contribution plans, endowments and foundations and religious and healthcare organizations in the Southeast.

Michael Albert, most recently with RBC Global Asset Management, is Widener's counterpart in the Midwest.

Rich Keri joined as senior vice president responsible for the private banking channel globally.

In a press release Wednesday, Mustin, global head of strategic accounts, said the hirings "round out our strategic plan to expand our distribution efforts with third parties in the Defined Contribution and Variable Annuity space, Institutional and Private Banking."

New York-based OppenheimerFunds formed the strategic accounts group last year.
