Friday, November 11, 2011 No Pricing Changes in Store at Schwab's Supermarket For mutual fund firms wondering about the direction of supermarket fees, the answer over at Schwab is that they are not going anywhere. "There are no plans to make changes," said Doug Hanson, vice president at the San Francisco-based firm in an interview on the sidelines of last week's Impact conference. The standard rate for Schwab's OneSource no-transaction-fee supermarket is 40 basis points. As for the transaction-fee platform, Schwab earlier this year altered pricing from a flat fee of $20 per account to an asset-based fee of 10 bps.
