More than 3,800 attendees are registered to attend the confab, now on its 20th year. Impact is one of the biggest venues for mutual fund firms to showcase their wares to RIAs. Guggenheim Investments is the company that resulted from the recent consolidation of Guggenheim Partners' 11 asset management units. Pimco's Bill Gross will chat with Schwab chief investment strategist Liz Ann Sonders and CNBC's Tyler Mathisen during the pre-conference session at 4:00 p.m. Other keynote speakers in the coming days include Tony Blair and Chuck Schwab.
