MME editor Lee Barney and publisher Bruce Morris handed out the awards in four categories Thursday morning at the NICSA General Membership Meeting & Best Practices Symposium in Boston. John Hancock took home the platinum award in the creativity in marketing operations category and Legg Mason Global Distribution bagged the gold award. In the visionary leadership category, T. Rowe Price Services president Wayne O'Melia is the platinum award winner and Artio Global Investors chief compliance officer Michael Quain and director of operations Victor Simon got the gold. TIAA-CREF came out on top in the innovation in customer experience category and Primerica Shareholder Services took home the gold award. MFS Corporate Actions team emerged as the platinum award winner in the innovation in back-office efficiencies category and Russell Investments is the gold winner.
