Thursday, September 8, 2011 Ave Maria Funds Sets Up Shop in Ave Maria The folks at Schwartz Investment Counsel, the Bloomfield, Michigan-based firm that runs the Ave Maria Mutual Funds, couldn't have picked a better spot for their southwest Florida outpost. Schwartz set up shop in the town of Ave Maria, according to reports from The Ave Herald and Naples News. Michael Schwartz, vice president and national sales manager, will head up the new office, whose staff includes Tim Schwartz, vice president and PM, and account representative Christopher E. O'Rourke. "We believe our pro-life, pro-family style of investing in accordance with Catholic moral teachings will resonate with the people in this area," Schwartz was quoted by The Ave Herald as saying.
