Tuesday, October 22, 2002 Access Data BizDev Director Moves On PFPC has added a vice president to its team targeting sales to transfer agents. Donald E. Doherty, Jr. joins the unit of PNC Bank from Access Data Corporation where he was director of business development. Earlier in his career he was at Bisys Investment Services, where he oversaw a national sales campaign targeting insurance companies. At PFPC he reports to William S. Brandfass, senior vice president, sales. Sandy Koeppel, a spokesperson for Access Data, was not available for comment on how the Pittsburgh-based consulting firm has handed off Doherty's responsibilities. "Don Doherty's level of expertise and knowledge of the financial services industry are welcome additions to the PFPC sales staff," said Brandfass, in a statement. "His hiring exemplifies that PFPC continues to offer an impressive combination of sophisticated technology and highly talented people who are constantly seeking ways to deliver superior solutions to our current and future customers."
