Neuberger Berman Bids Adieu to a Sales Exec

Neuberger Berman [see profile] veteran Andy Provencher has recently left the New York City-based asset manager after 17 years with the company. The distribution executive moved on from the firm in April.

Neuberger Berman spokesperson Randy Whitestone confirmed Provencher's departure and declined to provide further comment, citing company policy. Provencher could not immediately be reached for comment.

Provencher's former roles included serving as head of intermediary distribution.

Last fall, when former Goldman Sachs executive Scott Kilgallen joined Neuberger Berman as managing director overseeing intermediary distribution for retirement services, sub-advisory relationships, registered investment advisors and private banks, a Neuberger spokesperson told the MFWire.com at the time that Provencher transitioned to a "newly created role focused on enhancing strategic relationships with Neuberger Berman's most important wirehouse and independent broker-dealer clients."

Most of Provencher's former duties have been assumed by Jason Ainsworth, head of the advisor solutions group, according to a source familiar with the situation. Kilgallen has also taken on some of Provencher's old duties.
