Tuesday, May 17, 2011 Kasina Names the Top Five Social Media Leaders Among Fund Firms Mutual fund companies looking for peers to emulate when it comes to social media should take a look at a newly released list from consulting firm kasina. The New York City-based firm yesterday named its top five social media leaders. Highest on the list is Vanguard. kasina evaluated the social media presence of a total of 45 asset managers using a three-part methodology that scored companies on the availability and quality of features and user experience. Valley Forge, Pennsylvania-based Vanguard, whose social media efforts are led by Amy Dobra, earned a kasina Social Media Index score of 80. Coming in second place is Fidelity, also with a score of 80. TIAA-CREF is in third place with 79, iShares is in fourth place with 78 and Hartford is fifth with 77.
