Thursday, May 12, 2011 Old Mutual Asset Management Reorgs its Leadership Structure Old Mutual Asset Management [see profile] has appointed Steve Belgrad as chief financial officer and Aidan Riordan as director of affiliate development. Meanwhile, as previously reported by the trade press, OMAM is on the hunt for a distribution chief who will be based outside the U.S. The hiring of Belgrad and Riordan form part of a"series of organizational changes and executive appointments designed to align the company's executive structure with its strategic growth objectives," according to a company press release on Tuesday. Under the new framework laid out by Peter Bain, who joined OMAM as CEO in February, there will be three principal reporting units: Belgrad will join OMAM from HarbourVest Global Private Equity, where he currently serves as CFO, on June 1. Riordan, currently a partner at Calvert Street Capital Partners, will start at OMAM July 1. Riordan will report to Gibson.
