Sentinel Lures a PM From San Francisco
Sentinel Investments' [see profile] Capital Growth, Growth Leaders and Sustainable Growth funds all have a new co-PM. On Friday the Montpelier, Vermont-based mutual fund firm added Kelli Hill as vice president and co-PM for all three funds, alongside lead PM and senior vice president Elizabeth Bramwell.

Hill previously served as lead PM for San Francisco-based Ashfield Capital Partners' All-Cap portfolio. She also worked at Putnam and Wells Fargo.
According to Sentinel, the firm worked with more than $25.5 billion as of December 31.

Montpelier, VT – April 1, 2011 – Sentinel Investments announced today that Kelli K. Hill has been added as co-manager to the Sentinel Capital Growth, Sentinel Growth Leaders, and Sentinel Sustainable Growth Opportunities Funds effective April 1, 2011. She will be joining Elizabeth R. Bramwell, CFA, senior vice president and lead portfolio manager, who has led the Funds’ investment team since March 2006 and has managed the predecessor funds of Capital Growth and Growth Leaders since their inception in 1994 and 1999, respectively.

Ms. Hill joins Sentinel from Ashfield Capital Partners in San Francisco where she served as lead portfolio manager for the All-Cap portfolio, and was a member of the investment team for the firm’s Large Cap Growth portfolio. Prior to this role, Ms. Hill was an institutional portfolio manager and member of the International Core and Large Cap Core Growth portfolio teams at Putnam Investments in Boston. Earlier, she held portfolio management positions at Wells Capital Management and Wells Fargo Bank, both in San Francisco.
Kelli K. Hill graduated from University of Southern California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations.
