Tuesday, April 5, 2011 Morningstar Looks for Good No-Load World Diversified Funds The universe of world allocation funds is dominated by sales-charge-laden offerings but there are other alternatives, Morningstar reports. American Funds' latest offering, American Funds Global Balanced, which has a managed approach and low expenses, "will probably be a winner", according to the pub, and the best fund out of the bunch include BlackRock Global Allocation and First Eagle Global. But other no-load fund options include Pimco All Asset All Authority, which the pub said is "worth considering if you want to invest with an active asset allocator." Beyond Pimco, the pub said that investors will have to "think outside the box" for broad diversification and want to avoid a sales charge such as pairing an allocation fund such as FPA Crescent with Dodge & Cox Global.
