Fidelity's Ryan Finds a New Home

Tony Ryan, former chief administrative officer at Fidelity Investments, has found a new home. Next month, the Fidelity vet is beginning another chapter of his career by joining Boston-based Arrowstreet Capital, a quant shop with a focus on international and emerging markets equities, The MFWire has learned.

It was not immediately known what role Ryan will play at his new firm. Michael Stanton, partner, business development at Arrowstreet, declined to comment on Ryan's hire.

Ryan left Fidelity earlier this month. From 1988 to 1994, he served as manager of global investments at PanAgora Asset Management, where all three Arrowstreet founding partners -- Bruce Clarke, Peter Rathjens and John Campbell -- also worked.
