Friday, February 25, 2011 Money Market Mutual Funds Assets Dip By $5B Total money market mutual fund assets took a haircut of $5.14 billion to $2.751 trillion for the week ending Wednesday, Bloomberg reports, citing data from the Investment Company Institute. Assets of retail money market funds decreased by $2.27 billion to $929.73 billion, and institutional money market funds decreased by $2.87 billion to $1.821 trillion.
