Tuesday, February 22, 2011 Clearbridge Names its New Prez Legg Mason affiliate ClearBridge Advisors promoted its chief operting oficer Terrence Murphy to president. He assumes his new role from Peter Sundman, who remains CEO of the firm, P&I reports. Murphy joined the firm in 2006 from Citigroup Asset Management where he served as director of planning and analysis and later became the firm's chief financial officer in 2005.
