Thesis Taps an Ex-OppFunds Exec for its Advisory Board

New York-based Thesis Fund Management [see profile], which made its foray into the mutual fund business last year, has added former OppenheimerFunds executive Donna Winn to its board of advisors.

Winn's arrival raises the number of advisory board members to five, said Thesis Fund Management CEO Stephen Roseman, himself an alum of OppenheimerFunds.

"Donna brings a wealth of information about the '40 Act industry," Roseman said in an interview with The MFWire.com.

Winn retired from her post as OppenheimerFunds Private Investments president last spring. Earlier, she was senior vice president of distribution services at OppenheimerFunds.

Thesis launched its debut '40 Act product, an alternative mutual fund called Thesis Flexible Fund, in March of last year. The fund has AUM of $4 million, according to Morningstar.
