Tuesday, February 15, 2011 Fido Looks to Hire in Mass. and...Ireland? Fidelity Investments [see profile] said yesterday that it’s looking to hire more workers in Massachusettes and abroad, the Boston Herald reports. The Boston Behemoth currently has more than 200 job openings currently in Massachusetts -- with about 100 of the new positions based in Boston, spokesman Vin Loporchio told the pub. It currently employs some 8,000 workers in Massachusettes. The firm is also looking to add 100 workers in Ireland, in Galway and Dublin, for its technology group totaling 340 personnel.
