Friday, January 21, 2011 Delaware Sees Changes in its Sales Force Delaware Investments has seen some changes in its sales force. The Philadelphia-based firm has installed new divisional sales managers and tapped replacements for three wholesalers that have moved on from the company. Meanwhile, Delaware has created two senior consulant support roles. Brett Wright, most recently with ING Investment Management, joined on Tuesday as divisional sales manager for the West. William Presutti is Wright's counterpart on the Eastern portion of the country. Presutti started in mid-December and is an alum of Transamerica, Managers Investment Group, UBS and OppenheimerFunds. On the wholesaler side, the recent hires are ING alum Marcus Anderson for the Michigan territory, Merrill Lynch alum Walter Kulp for the Washington, D.C. area and ING alum Alan Markfeld for the West Virginia/Virginia territory. Delaware has also created two senior consultant support posts, one of which is occupied by John Grieco, who moved from the key accounts group. The other post is held by Kurt Phares, who hails from another unit of Delaware's owner, Macquarie. "We felt it was necessary to have two dedicated professionals cover that segment," said Jeff Klepacki, head of third-party distribution at Delaware, in an interview. With Grieco and Phares moving into their new roles, Delaware now has a total of 29 external sales people, Klepacki said. Klepacki will tap a replacement for Grieco in the key accounts team, which currently has three members. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=35819 Copyright 2011, InvestmentWires, Inc.
