Tuesday, December 28, 2010 Who Will Take the Top Job at Old Mutual Asset Management? Pensions & Investments' Doug Appell has an article published yesterday about names that have emerged as possible candidates to replace Tom Turpin, who left the top job at Old Mutual Asset Management in September. Appell reports that "several investment bankers" have pointed to Natixis Global Asset Management U.S. CEO John Hailer as the leading candidate. A Natixis spokesperson, however, threw cold water on the possibility, saying Hailer is "not interested" in the OMAM job. The article also mentions other possible candidates, including former Legg Meason executive Peter Bain and Ted Truscott, who serves as CEO of U.S. asset management and president of annuities at Ameriprise Financial.
