A Fund Servicer Plans to Add 300 Jobs

Citi Fund Services plans to add 300 jobs in Columbus, Ohio over the next three years, The Columbus Dispatch reports.

The additional positions are being funded with the help of state tax credits, the report stated.

The new jobs, ranging from from entry-level roles to senior-management positions, will bring employment for Citigroup to 1,000 at the company's operation in Columbus.

"Columbus is the center of excellence for the fund-service business in the U.S. There is a strong work ethic complemented by a strong, intellectual talent pool," Joe Rezabek, head of fund services in North America for Citigroup, told the pub.

He said it's possible to add more than 300 jobs.

Citi Fund Services' clientele include mutual fund firms, private equity firms and weath managers.
