Wednesday, December 8, 2010 Paradigm Turns to a Third-Party Distributor Paradigm Capital Management [see profile] earlier this year hired Rafferty Capital as its mutual fund distributor [SEC filing]. The four mutual funds were previously self-distributed by Albany, New York-based Paradigm. "As we continue to grow, we're attracting a fair amount of interest from larger institutional plaforms and they're looking for boutique funds like ours to have a third-party distributor," said Gordon Sacks, vice president and director of marketing, in an interview. Paradigm looked at a total of three or four vendors before deciding on Rafferty, Sacks said. "We chose Rafferty as the best fit for us," he said. Paradigm entered the mutual fund business in 2003 with the launch of the Paradigm Value Fund. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=35336 Copyright 2010, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
