Wednesday, November 3, 2010 WSJ Showcases A Janus Duo The pair -- who look for small-cap companies that have a defensible competitive advantage, market share with growth potential and strong business model with steady revenue reportedly -- reportedly must agree on every investment pick. Schaub told the WSJ's Melissa Korn that the pair "feel extremely accountable to each other, so it's much more difficult for us to stray from our investment process and philosophy". They each reportedly have more than $1 million of their own money invested in the fund, which managed $794.4 million in assets as of Sept. 30 and has stakes in just 85 companies. Triton reportedly posted a one-year return of 29.8 percent, according to Morningstar, while its benchmark, the Russell 2500 Growth Index, was up 28.4 percent. Over the past three years, the fund has gained 0.83 percent, while the index is down 2.7%. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=33911 Copyright 2010, InvestmentWires, Inc. All Rights Reserved |
