Advisor Site Retools

Rydex Global Advisors has relaunched its AdvisorBenchMarking.com Web site. The redesign was intended to allow registered investment advisors to benchmark their practices with peers, explained Rydex.

The fund firm made the changes as part of an effort to build closer relations with advisors. It expects the new features to address issues that advisors face on a daily basis.

Analysis on the site is based on a survey of roughly 700 advisors, explained Rydex. The survey looked at best practices and the current raft of issues important to advisors.

The new benchmarking tools include custom charts and graphs that compare advisors businesses to those of their peers in the same asset range. It also offers best practice studies of successful advisors, including those with the largest or fastest growing practices.

The site also polls advisors for insight on trends and offers Rydex's analysis of how trends are affecting advisors.

"Advisors want to know how their successful peers manage and grow their practices," explained A.P. "Skip" Viragh, president, Rydex Global Advisors. "But the scarcity of research in the advisor marketplace has forced many to make critical business decisions in a vacuum. With AdvisorBenchmarking.com, advisors have a resource and forum in which to consider vital business issues."
