An Ex-Rydex Exec Lands a New Gig


Former Rydex Investments executive Ed Egilinsky, who played a key role in the buildout of the firm's alternative investment platform, has joined Chicago-headquartered Price Asset Management as managing director. Egilinsky is based out of the New York office and will "assist in product distribution as well as sales and new product initiatives for PAM," according to a press release on Tuesday.

Previously, Egilisnksy was head of alternative investment strategies at Rydex, where oversaw, among others, the launch of the first mutual fund that provided retail investors access to managed futures. Earlier, Egilinsky led U.S. sales and marketing for multi-boutique alternative investment firm Kenmar Advisory Group.

Prior to his tenure at Rydex, Ed was in charge of U.S. sales and marketing for Kenmar Advisory Corp (a multi-boutique alternative investment firm). Ed is a recognized authority in the alternative investment field. He has been a frequent speaker at financial conferences, a guest on financial news programs and cited in financial publications.
