Friday, July 30, 2010 Huntington Plans to Boost its Headcount Unified Fund Services, which will rechristen itself Huntington Asset Services effective this Sunday, plans to grow its ranks in the coming months. "We are looking to add 20 more people by the end of the year, primarily in the asset services area," Brian Blomquist, president of Huntington Asset Services and director of Huntington Institutional Custody, told The MutualFundWire. On the custody side, Huntington added five people over the last couple of months. The Columbus, Ohio-based custody business now has a total of 60 people. There are 80 people in the Indianapolis-based asset services business. Huntington is in the process of expanding its services for RIAs, enhancing its offerings for collective investment trusts and providing administration for municipal pooled funds.
