Tuesday, July 20, 2010 Forward Won't Move Forward with C Share Closing First you "C" them, then you don't. Forward Management has reversed course on a decision to drop class C shares on its mutual funds. The firm had stopped selling the share class on June 15 and informed shareholders that the C shares would be converted to investor class shares on August 9 [SEC Filing. That switch will not be happening. In a new filing with the SEC, Forward Management officials revealed that they decided "not to go through" with the conversion and termination of the class C shares. They did not reveal why they had the change of heart. The upshot for advisors and their clients is that the class C shares are once again for sale.
