Wednesday, July 14, 2010 Fund Swaps Van Kampen for Invesco Morgan Stanley's recent sale of the bulk of its asset management businesses to Invesco is causing some house tidying in the Van Kampen mutual funds. Recently the Van Kampen Value FDP fund formally swapped subadvisors, moving from Van Kampen Asset Management to Invesco [see SEC disclosure]. The change should not materially effect the fund's portfolio management which is in the hands of Invesco's Multi-Cap value team. All of the member of that team also made the move to Invesco from Morgan Stanley and Van Kampen. Invesco’s Multi-Cap Value team consists of Kevin C. Holt, Devin E. Armstrong, Jason S. Leder, Matthew Seinsheimer and James N. Warwick. Holt, the lead PM, had been at Van Kampen since 1999 before making the move to Invesco as a part of the sale.
